Account registration data (name, email, password); billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers); brand voice settings and custom instructions; social channel connection tokens (encrypted at rest).
Device information (browser, OS, screen resolution); usage data (features used, pages visited, session duration); IP address and approximate location; cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Cookie Policy).
Social media profile data when you connect channels; payment confirmation from payment processors; analytics data from service providers.
We use your data to: provide and operate the AnyNews.ai service; generate and publish content on your behalf; process payments and manage your subscription; send service-related communications; improve and develop new features; ensure security and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations.
We process data under: contract performance (providing the service you signed up for); legitimate interests (improving the service, preventing fraud); consent (marketing emails — you can opt out); legal obligations (tax, regulatory compliance).
We share data only with: Service providers — hosting (AWS), payments (Stripe), analytics (privacy-focused), email delivery. Social platforms — when you connect channels, we transmit content you approve for publishing. Legal requirements — when compelled by law, subpoena, or court order. We never sell your personal data.
Account data: retained while your account is active + 30 days after deletion. Published content data: retained for 12 months for analytics, then anonymized. Billing records: retained for 7 years per tax requirements. Server logs: retained for 90 days.
Data may be processed in the United States and European Union. For EU-to-US transfers, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. See our Data Processing Agreement for details.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access, correct, or delete your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent. See our GDPR Rights page for EU-specific rights. California residents: see CCPA section below.
California residents have the right to: know what personal information is collected; request deletion; opt out of sale (we do not sell data); non-discrimination for exercising rights. To exercise CCPA rights, email privacy@anynews.ai.
AnyNews.ai is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we delete it promptly.
We implement encryption (TLS 1.3, AES-256), access controls, regular audits, and incident response procedures. See our Security page for details.
Material changes are communicated via email 30 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
