How we protect EU residents' data rights.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), EU/EEA residents have the following rights regarding their personal data:
Right of access (Art. 15): Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification (Art. 16): Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Right to erasure (Art. 17): Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Right to restrict processing (Art. 18): Request limitation of how we process your data.
Right to data portability (Art. 20): Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object (Art. 21): Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
Right not to be subject to automated decision-making (Art. 22): AnyNews.ai does not make automated decisions with legal or significant effects on individuals.
We process personal data under the following legal bases: contract performance (providing the service); legitimate interests (improving the service, preventing fraud); consent (marketing communications); legal obligations (tax, regulatory requirements).
When we transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or equivalent safeguards.
